Art is known for being mysterious, provoking, and leaving riddles instead of answers. But when it comes to the more technical side of things, here are some answers to the most common questions you might have

FAQ & Art Guide

1. Precise Size Conversion Table

Note: Our artworks are produced using metric (cm) dimensions. Inch conversions are provided as a helpful estimate for international collectors.

  • 18 x 24 cm | 7.1 x 9.5" (Small Sketch / Study)

  • 20 x 25 cm | 7.9 x 9.8" (~ US 8x10" Standard)

  • 20 x 30 cm | 7.9 x 11.8" (2:3 Classic Ratio)

  • 30 x 30 cm | 11.8 x 11.8" (Small Square)

  • 40 x 30 cm | 15.7 x 11.8" (Medium Landscape)

2. Understanding Stretcher Depths
  • Canvas Board (4-5 mm / ~0.2"):
Slim and sturdy. Best suited for traditional frames or behind glass.

  • Slim Profile (1.8 cm / ~0.7"):
Our standard for many works. Ideal for floating frames or a minimalist look.

  • Gallery Profile (3.6-4.0 cm / ~1.5"):
Bold presence with painted edges. Designed to be hung without an extra frame.

3. Framing & Hanging

How do I find the right frame? For international frames (Inch-based), we recommend using a Mat (Passepartout). This allows you to fit a metric artwork into a standard inch-frame perfectly while adding a professional gallery-style border.

Is the artwork "Ready to Hang"?

  • Stretched Canvases: Yes. The edges are painted, and I will either include or pre-install a wire hanger on all gallery-depth and slim canvases for your convenience.

  • Canvas Boards: These usually require a traditional frame or a small tabletop easel for display.

4. Shipping & Packaging

I prioritize a "Safety First" approach to ensure your original arrives in pristine condition.

  • Protection: Each painting is wrapped in moisture-resistant layers and high-quality bubble wrap.

  • Exterior: I use reinforced cardboard boxes to protect corners and surfaces.

  • Note: While I use traditional protective materials for safety, I encourage collectors to reuse the packaging whenever possible.

5. Care, Authenticity & Returns
  • Care: Dust lightly with a dry, soft microfiber cloth. Avoid direct sunlight and high humidity.

  • Authenticity: Every original is hand-signed and comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity (CoA).

  • Returns: You may cancel your order within 14 days. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs and risks. (Personalized commissions are excluded).

  • International Orders: For deliveries outside the EU, additional customs duties or taxes may apply depending on your country's regulations.

  • Color Accuracy: Please note that every screen has different color profiles. Slight variations between the screen and the physical painting are normal.

6. Can I suggest new questions?

Shipping Times, Customs & Returns

1. How long does shipping take? Originals are securely packed and shipped within 3–5 business days. Delivery within the EU takes approximately 3–7 days. International shipping (USA, overseas) typically takes about 10–21 days.

2. Customs & Import Fees (Important!) For deliveries outside the European Union (e.g., USA, UK, Switzerland), customs duties or import taxes may apply. These costs are the buyer's responsibility and are beyond my influence. I am not responsible for delays caused by customs processing.

3. Costs for Non-Collection / Customs Failure If a package is returned to me because the buyer refused delivery or failed to complete customs clearance, the buyer is responsible for the return shipping costs as well as any fees for a second delivery attempt.

4. Returns (Right of Withdrawal) Collectors have a 14-day right of withdrawal. In the event of a return, the buyer bears the direct costs of return shipping. The artwork must arrive in its original packaging and in undamaged condition for a refund to be issued.
